Abstract

The palaces in the Umayyad era were taking a very similar urban appearance in small cities, and they consisted of the palaces of the Khalifa and members of his entourage and his own, and from parks, spacious places, theaters , markets, bathrooms, hotels, houses of industry, mosques, and so on.
In this research, the urban history of the Zahra' Palace, its location and the reason for its name will be mentioned in addition to its internal and external space structure, and the elements of the inner space and the materials that were used in this palace.
