The research deals with a semantic linguistic study of Mishnaic Hebrew in the light of sociolinguistics. The study deals with a group of vocabulary and structures that the Mishna jurists saw in it a form of impoliteness and disrespect for. The Mishna jurists avoided these vocabulary and structures completely and considered them to be linguistic taboos that should not be used. And they put alternatives that express the intended meaning. This came as a result of their being influenced by the morals of the Hellenistic civilization in the first place, and then other civilizations such as the Babylonian and Sassanid civilizations.
