This paper is about the use of the semiological Approach to analyze the main characters in “New Cairo” novel by Naguib Mahfouz, to elaborate the extent of their awareness of the Egyptian novelists in this early period with the importance of characters, Their Technical recruitment semiological methods, and discover the mechanisms of its work, references, relations and styles.
