The research deals with one of the most important phenomena of the Arabic language, which is the phenomenon of diphthongs, by which we mean inserting a consonant sound into another vowel, whether they are identical or close, until they become one stressed sound. Knowing the time it takes for the sound to be shrieked in its likeness once, and in its approximation again; To find out, will there be a difference in the time taken to pronounce the two stressed sounds in both cases? Or will the time intervals be the same, based on the phonetic idea proven by our advanced scientists, according to which the merging of the sound in its approximations means that the first sound will be completely transformed into the gender of the second sound, which leads to their similarity.
