The position of the sultans on judicial rulings in Egypt in the Mamluk era

This study deals with one of the important issues in Mamluk history, which is the dialectic of the relationship of the ruling authority represented by the Sultan with judicial rulings in Egypt during that period of time that is characterized by momentum, vitality and great political movement.
The study we are about is not concerned in any way with addressing the history of the judiciary in the Mamluk era, nor for singling out pages for the biographies of senior judges and the most famous cases. Which would lead to harmony or alienation between the two authorities
The Mamluk Sultans were keen to consolidate their rule and strengthen their authority by achieving justice among the subjects in order to ensure the stability of internal affairs and conditions and in order to achieve the desired results of ruling the country. This was the sultans looking into grievances, and in other respects the Mamluk Sultans sometimes worked on Considering themselves in some cases, in addition to their interference in other specific judicial rulings, between commendable interference with the purpose of raising grievances, or investigating complaints, or overturning rulings, or interference with the whims and purpose of the authority, or pressures leading to exclusion and isolation.
