Abstract

The writer uses the legendary symbols in her novel to expose the ugliness of reality, and to reveal all its unreasonable circumstances and problems. The mythical symbols in this work are covered with everything that evokes terror and fear in the conscience of the recipient. The writer relies for a large part of her narration on metamorphosis and dreams of a mythical nature, with all the negative dimensions that appear, and distorted images of what reality should be. This teratogenic aspect, in addition to its intensity, is loaded with many dimensions and various references, from mythological, historical, and political dimensions. The writer employs much of the heritage of the Sufis, and their language, which is full of the energies of the supernatural and the myth, to sharpen a large part of the manifestations of the mythical sense.
