This paper deals with earthquake which took place in the Byzantine Empire in 1063 A.D. Michael Attaliates is the only one who mentioned this earthquake. He speaks about the reasons of this earthquake and the cities which affected and destroyed by it.
Michael Attaliates mentioned that this earthquake too place due to God's dissatisfaction as a result of the corruptions in the Empire during this time.
