Building materials and its Resources in Muzafar Shahi Mosques in Ahmedabad in India

Abstract

Ahmadabad city was the Capital of Muzafar Shahi Sultans since sultan Ahmed Shah son of Tatar Khan found it in 814 AH\ 1411 AD, and He has interested by building up Mosques, other Sultans and Emirs too. Ahmadabad city has 22 mosques which reflects many of political, social, and economic aspects Important part of the Islamic world in middle ages, This paper interesting by the materials which used in building up these mosques, why the builders insisted on using stones and marbles though Ahmadabad and its nearby areas characterize by plain soil?, what are the resources of this stones and marble?, What are the other aspects which connected by the new materials and reusing old materials .
