Gender differences in vocational interest

Abstract

The present study aimed at revealing the nature of gender differences in vocational interest. The study sample consisted of 95 university students with 43% males and 57% females. The vocational interest test was applied on sample, which consists of six basic dimensions. The study concluded that there were statistically significant differences between males and females in Realistic type toward males and in Artistic type toward females.
