Abstract

This research deals with the conflict of ideas in the poetry of the Egyptian revolution from Orabi to January 2011 applying the cultural approach.
The cultural analysis is a good method to reveal the meanings of the literary works, and its cultural, social, political backgrounds, which has  play a basic role in producing the meaning of the text.
Cultural analysis not only deals with the text as a literary text , but also as an cultural event with implicit systems of meaning that need to be read in depth to expose the enormous amount of cultural fossils behind those  systems of meaning.
In this study, the researcher discusses  how the  revolutionary poetry represents  the conflict of ideas within the  modern Egyptian  revolutions starting with orabi revolution passing through  1919 and 23 July 1952 revolutions , and ending with January 2011 revolution using selected models for some of prominent systens  poets, analyzing these texts from a Cultural perspective to reveal the cultural systems of meaning that produced semantic topics.
