The vowels in the Classical Arabic language

Abstract

This research aims to study the vowels in the Classical Arabic language in order to clarify its Phoneme, Allophone and pronunciations as well as their diphthongs, and the link between vowels and consonants. This research represents the ancient scholars' description of Classical Arabic phonics, as well as adopting and building on them, in addition to clarifying some of the problems around them. The research finally tries to relate it to one of the achievements of the International Phonetic Association, which is IPA chart, and clarifying the correct phonetic writing for each phonetic variation of Arabic vowels.
