Abstract

This study aims to Discover Features Change in family Relationships Wives of Patients with Breast Cancer. to achieve this aim, it raises a major question: What are  The Features Change in family Relationships Wives of Patients with Breast Cancer?. This study comes under comparative studies that depend on critical, comparative approach to analyze the problem in question, with the help of the case study approach of 17 cases of rural and urban residents of Fayoum Governorate. The study has come to the conclusion that The Husband has formed a united front with his wife in order to cope with the disease, and has shaped up that front to provide more passion, tranquility and affection to wife. The study also found that the wives of patients with breast cancer seemed to feel that they are less feminine after a mastectomy, and have developed a negative image of the body, followed by a case of dissatisfaction with sexual performance. Also revealed the results of case studies show about the wives of patients with breast cancer more concern for the future of their children, as well as a desire to withhold any information relating to their illness. Finally, the study showed a tendency wives of patients with breast cancer to avoid talking about their illness with strangers, especially co-workers, Because they considered that their illness is a personal issue that no one has the right to interfere with.
