Abstract

This study aims at recognizing the impact of poverty on education. Methodology: this study depends on the application of the case study on twelve cases among who could complete their education in one of the impoverished villages in the town of Somesta, Beni-Suef governorate, through a comparative Method. Conclusions: the study reveals an effective impact on the realization of educational mobility, which was negative on the cases from 1 to six who leaked out of education, and failed to achieve educational mobility compared to the cases from 7 to 12 who could overcome their bad circumstances through emigration with their families and relatives outside the village for their bad social and economic conditions, and obtain university degrees. This is related to a group of sociological factors that influenced on the educational mobility represented in: the impact of the ecological environment, the kind of socialization followed in these families, the influence of cultural consciousness, inequality, and finally the impact of the social network on the achievement of education mobility.
