Abstract

The research attempts to identify the role of cultural institutions in general and independent cinema especially in the development of cultural capital and also to identify the cultural obstacles affecting the lack of positive transformation of cultural institutions in general and independent cinema in particular. The existence of cultural institutions in any society while preserving their freedom and independence towards state institutions today A vital requirement in public life.
Therefore, the research attempts to trace the spread of cultural institutions in general and independent cinema in particular and study their impact on the development of cultural capital, with the aim of identifying the effects of independent cinema, social phenomena and social patterns of behavior.
And now, after the winds of changes that has afflicted the society, are cultural institutions in general and independent cinema especially able to overcome the difficulties and challenge the new reality so the researcher tries to raise the problem of research through the main question:
- What is the role of cultural institutions in general and independent cinema especially in the development of cultural capital?

Results of Study:
The results of the study confirmed that the aim of the cultural institutions interested in independent cinema is to spread the idea of ​​independent cinema, to provide independent filmmakers with the opportunity to present and present what they want, to provide the opportunity to thinkers and talent in the presence of those who help them to present their work, Independent cinematographers, and the formation of awareness of individuals and groups, to promote the independent film industry as well as to work on publishing and promoting it and overcoming obstacles, to show an intellectual and cultural alternative to cinema away from commercial cinema.
The results of the study confirmed that the cultural institutions in general and the independent cinema in particular are one of the strong platforms currently in the field of cultural development and have a strong role in advancing the development and development of cultural capital.
