In the name of o Allah the Merciful and the most Compassionate Analytical-Empirical Study

We mean with dualism two lexical items which carry two different denotations or which includes the meaning of both. This research aims to reveal two aspects:
First: Looking for dualism in the Pre-Islamic poetry, Holy Quran and grammar and morphology.  Second :Necessities or justifications of backwardation and forwarding of a lexical on another within the synchronism of lexical items 
This study surveyed dualism which appeared to be the result of environment. Such a phenomena revealed the ignorant thinking and the weak point of view which is based on myths and legends, and so denotation developed in light of the maturation of the cultural manifestations.
The phenomenon of lexical items forwarding occurs in general and can be referred to the superiority of meaning and to logical and semantic- systematic reasons followed by the predecessors .

The researcher divided his research into three parts to facilitate the study :dualism in the pre-Islamic prose and poetry  ,dualism in the holly Quran and dualism in the linguistic sciences .
