Abstract

The study aims to study the geographic distribution of the number of mobile networks (Zain, Asiacell, kork) throughout Iraq for the year 2015.
The research was based on a set of statistical methods to reach the objective of the research in an objective and precise manner. Use the standard score in determining the distribution categories for all networks and for all governorates, and use the Lorenz hypothesis to determine the concentration and regularity of the geographic distribution of the networks.
The results showed that the presence of a dominant area for all networks (surplus in number of lines) and the area of spread (deficit in the number of lines) trying every network spread by reducing the cost of calls and provide services between the same network lines to ensure a faster spread, and showed that the population factor was the most important among Factors affecting the geographical distribution of networks in Iraq for 2015.(33.34%)Asiacell (32.44%) and kork (34.21%) of the total number of mobile lines for all networks operating in Iraq for the year 2015.As we conclude from the spatial model of the deficit and surplus areas of the geographical distribution in Iraq for the number of mobile lines in Iraq for the year 2015, half of the governorates of Iraq are in a state of balance in the number of lines and (3) provinces where the number of lines surplus, while (6) In the number of lines in the total telephone networks operating in the same year
