This study deals with the economic conditions in the Kingdom of Hejaz in the first half of the twentieth century AD. Where the Kingdom suffered from the deterioration of its financial and economic conditions, which led to its weakening, and its transformation into a dependent kingdom. The study traces the manifestations of underdevelopment and deterioration, and the Kingdom's necessity to rely on the Ottoman Empire in managing its financial affairs. The study relied on solid scientific material and used the historical research method in an attempt to reach the truth.
