A program for developing emotional intelligence among a sample of paranoid schizophrenic patients and its impact on improving their social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to create a program to develop emotional intelligence in sample of paranoid schizophrenia patient, also it aims to measure the effectiveness of the program and measure its effect on improving their social skills, through a pre and post measurement for the experimental group. Also it aims to recognize the nature of the relationship between   emotional intelligence and social skills in a sample of paranoid schizophrenia a patient. The study group was composed of (18) paranoid schizophrenia in patients. The study group was divided into two identical groups. One as experimental group and the other as control group . Result of the study:There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group the mean scores in the dimensional measurement for the experimental group on the emotional intelligence and social skills scale.
