Cultural values presented in American movies (Analytical Study)

Today, the world witnesses the domination of American film production companies over the cinema industry, as the American movies, and their content showing various styles and cultural values that naturally differ from a community to another , influence the lives of individuals and Arab communities in general and the Egyptian community in particular. Hence, it was important to study American movies, and to get to know the most prominent negative moral, social, and scientific values presented within, and the way they have been addressed, and the persuasive attraction used, in order to conclude the value and behavioral content provided within.
This study belongs to descriptive studies that depend on survey methods using the content analysis approach to achieve its results. The researcher has designed a content analysis form in order to analyze (40) American movies that represent the total of this study sample.
One of the most important findings that have been concluded in this research is that positive moral, social, and scientific values have prevailed over negative moral, social, and scientific values through logical and emotional inducement and by supporting values with both words and behavior. In addition, male primary characters have prevailed in American movies, and have directly tackled such values.
