Abstract

The research began with an introduction and division. The study included the legal concept of cybercrime, as it is one of the most recent crimes of the century, so the researcher presented the controversy surrounding the definition of electronic crime, as opinions are still in divergence to this day and there has been no agreement on a unified concept for this type of crime with the multiplicity of expressions indicating electronic crime, which was launched with it Several expressions such as, cyber crime, information crime, computer and computer crimes, as well as what the researcher used in some areas of his research in terms of electronic information crimes, and other expressions as it appeared in the body of the research.
Then the researcher dealt with the place of cybercrime, indicating its pillars, and how it, like traditional crime, has two pillars, the first is material and the second is moral, and the difference of opinions regarding this is where some added a third pillar, as it was found in the text. This idea is not known, as shown in the body of the paper.
