The study sheds light on the development of collections in folklore institutions, especially field combinations as the main source for the development of collections in some of the study institutions. The study proceeded and focused on to a set of key common elements that can reveal to us the reality of collection development processes. These elements can be represented in: goals, planning, and possibilities, and criteria for adding field materials, the implementation of a field combination task. The study concluded a set of findings, recommendations and references used in the study.
