Abstract

This is a historical study concerned with one of the social phenomena in Roman society, namely the actio institor. And how was the mixed view of society to them In different ways and methods as mentioned by the ancient sources, Previous studies did not lend themselves to studying this category, which played a role in the retail trade, In the Roman markets, through activities and trading, which appeared on the scene of social events in Roman society This is called the actio institor, These street actio institor did not form a particular social class And that this word is comprehensive and inclusive and represents any person who participates in commercial work and activities in the field of land trade, The Roman society’s view of the actio institor came from the aristocratic orientation towards the trade profession in general, a trend that appeared very clearly in the era of the Republic.
