Abstract

This study applies the polyphonic theory on a poem entitled (Amn Aal Na'am) by the Arab poet Omar Bin Abi Rabia'. The theoretical part of the study analyzes the narrator as well as the point of view. However, the applied part examines the multiple voices of the characters and narrator in the poem. The study further delves into the narcissism of the poet who is glorified and championed by his own narrative characters. The poem as well sheds light on the ease and opulence of life during his life.
The study has a conclusion in which the findings are stated. It ends with a reference page.
