Abstract

The national movement has developed in Iraq since the Second World War and its activities have expanded at the internal and Arab levels. The parties that call for independence, sovereignty, liberation, Arab unity, and the adoption of national ideas and these have emerged. Among these national parties appeared the Istiqlal Party andal-Watani al-Democrati Party, The Royal Era in Iraq between 1921-1958 in their activities and national work, both towards successive Iraqi governments at that stage of the formation of contemporary Iraq in the political issues and events witnessed by the Arab world at this time.
In this paper, we propose a hypothesis that the Istiqlal Party and the al-Watani al-Democrati Party had Arab orientations or commitments to the concept of Arabism, so that they can be considered not only as parties with a national orientation but as an Arab orientation within the framework of the Arab nationalist movement.First: the Istiqlal Party,

establishment, objectives, programs, party positions of Arab issues. Then second: al-Watani al-Democrati Party, establishment, objectives and politics, the party positions of Arab issues, and finally the conclusion.
