The Relationship Between the Administrative Creativity of the Educational Institution and the School Environment from the Perceptions of School Principals at Educational Directorate in a Jordanian Sample

Abstract

The aim of the study was to reveal the relationship between the administrative creativity of the educational institution and the school environment from the perceptions of school principals at Al Koura educational directorate. To achieve the objective of the study, a descriptive survey design was employed. The sample of the study consisted of (40) school principals and (40) educational supervisors. For data collection, a questionnaire measuring the impact of administrative creativity on educational institution from schools principals' perceptions was developed. The results of the study indicated a statistically significant correlation between administrative creativity and school environment from schools principals' perceptions at Al Koura educational directorate. The results of the study indicated that the real administrator was the best category from the perceptions of schools principals. There were no statistically significant differences in the magnitude of the correlation between administrative creativity and school environment due to gender and position. In light of these results, the study recommended the need for schools principals and educational supervisors to be well informed about the results of this study, especially with respect to the impact of administrative creativity on school environment.
