Abstract

The Babylonian kingdoms were characterized by disunity during the first half of the old Babylonian Period. The norms and traditions at that time were the rules that regulate the relations among the states and every kingdom had its ruler, borders and norms. Political crises arose every now and then for different reasons whether political, economical tribal or personal.Among the cities that belonged to these kingdoms is the city of Bekasi, which is part of the city of Babylon. Date formolas and archaeological excavations proved that it was contemporary to three Babylonian kings (King Hammurabi, King Samso-Elona and King Abe-Ishok).The name "Abu Anteek" is the local name and misrepresentation of the word "Antiquity" in the English language on the archaeological site known as the cuneiform sources of the city of Bekasi, which dates back to the old Babylonian era within the borders of three provinces (Babylon, Qadissiya and Najaf), which was not registered in the list of archaeological sites because it was located within the lands Which was immersed in the water of the marshland known as Ibn Najm marshland.
