Interests of middle school first grade female students in Social Studies

Abstract

This researcher's goal is to know the impact of data analysis strategies in developing the interest of middle school first grade female students in social studies. The researcher chose a partial experimental design for two experimental groups; the standard and the experimental and compared between the two groups of the research before the start of experiment in number of variables. The first three chapters of the social studies book of the first grade of the Middle School were the material of the research. The research measured the interests in the material was from (32) parts. To check the correctness of the research, the experiment was applied during the first semester. Additionally, when measuring the interest of the students in the material and handling the data statistically, the results showed an advancement in the experimental group, which was taught in according to the strategy of data analyses comparing to the group, which studied according to the traditional way of schooling. The researcher has concluded that the strategy of data analysis has a role in the continuity of students to follow up and participate in the class.
