This research deals with the image and description of Bahrain in the journey of Palgrave conducted in 1862. He is considered one of the travelers who recorded their impressions of the Arabian Peninsula. The research has five main axes, an introduction, a conclusion and two annexes. The first axis talks about the journey and the traveler, while the second axis examines the image of Bahrain as described by Palgrave. The third axis talks about the rulers of Bahrain during his journey. The fourth and fifth axes dealt with the economic and social life of Bahrain as he portrayed them
