The problem of research revolves around the impact of political crises in the region on the trade of Kuwait ports, both positively and negatively. One of the most important of these crises was the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait or the so-called Second Gulf War, a study that did not receive much attention from researchers and scholars, hence the problem of the study. Study plan: The study is divided into:
1- Addressing the differences between Iraq and Kuwait over the borders that triggered political crises that affected the Kuwaiti port trade. 2- The impact of the second Gulf War on Kuwait's maritime trade. 3- A conclusion that presents the most important research findings. Approach: The study will be based on the historical historical approach with its various tools of description, analysis and criticism according to the research clauses and the availability of scientific material.
