This study aims to identify the problematic of the term intercalation among grammatical and rhetorical people through the introduction of this phenomenon by revealing its concept of language terminology. Then, talk about the first phenomenon among grammatical and rhetorical people, and then turning to its types: inserts letters, inserts verbs and insert names. Then we proceed to list the problematic terms of the term intercalation that grammatical and rhetorical called this phenomenon.
Such as padding, increase, objection relevance, idle talk, assertion and precaution. Explaining the relationship between these terms and the term intercalation.
