This research is a field study on class consciousness in Iraqi society. The social survey approach and the comparative approach have been used. The human area included all residents of Baghdad and the time required to collect the field data required for the study was approximately 8 months from 2-2-2018 to 2-10-2018. The sample was selected in random sample (the sample included) 100) male and female. A variety of data collection methods were used, the most important of which were questionnaire, interview and official records. But the most important findings of the researcher is that the Iraqi society is divided into layers and segments and classes and sects of Iraqi society. There is a class system in Iraqi society. There is class consciousness in Iraqi society. Despite class consciousness. Which leads to a class hierarchy between the classes and also there is class mobility within the community, but this movement suffers from a class crisis linked to the identity crisis of Iraq
