Abstract

This study started from the prime goal is to study and analyze the social dimensions of volunteer work and its impact on social cohesion in the Egyptian society. By doing a field study on a systematic random sample of volunteers in the Egyptian Societies for Community Participation Enhancement in Cairo, and the advancement and development of women Balqahrh.lmarafh seen the social dimensions of volunteer work and its impact on the process of social cohesion in the Egyptian society. This study belongs to the descriptive analytical studies, where Asaant study descriptive and analytical approach. Has been relying on data collection questionnaire was applied to the systematic random sample of volunteers in the Egyptian Societies for Community Participation Enhancement, advancement and development of women, reached its size (217) single.
 The study found a range of results from the most important being that volunteering plays a key role in building a cohesive and coherent society through social relations network formed by voluntary organizations, which are a major source of the creation of social capital within the community source, and marked Egyptian society its interest in volunteering and volunteer issues, particularly under the international changes and the speed of the rhythm and witnessed by the Egyptian society of consecutive revolutions have led to the emergence of the need for the participation of individuals with the government as a necessity to achieve development.
