Abstract

Electricity is one of the pillars of development and an important indicator of the development of societies, and is a key factor in raising the level of consumption and stability and growth, and the countries of the world to build and strengthen programs of electric power production and development to achieve the appropriate social welfare in the context of environmental conservation, In the State of Kuwait, a great development has been associated with population growth and economic and social development. This study deals with the analysis of the reality of the production and distribution of electric power. It also deals with sectoral uses and average per capita share. It also sheds light on the future of electric power in the State of Kuwait and directs towards a new role for alternative energy sources for electricity production in the future.
