Redesigning administrative processes(BPR) and their role in the management of total quality in higher education - Faculty members at King Khalid University as a model.

Abstract

As the cognitive explosion of recent decades has increased, new theories have emerged. Advanced educational techniques created by advanced and accelerated practical research, higher education institutions must radically reconsider their educational service to cope with these variables as the main financier of the labor market with academic and professional competencies, affecting the economy of countriesat all levels.
In the foregoing, it can be said that Redesigning administrative processes(BPR) in higher education is a process in which administrative systems are to be restructured to achieve total quality through a range of procedures and techniques that help reduce time, effort and cost and lead to rapid delivery and accurate performance away from business and bureaucratic repetition. This leads to the total quality.
Through this study, the researchers seek to know the reality of the application of the Redesigning administrative processes(BPR)  in King Khaled University and its role in the management of total quality through a questionnaire designed for this purpose for the faculty members, consisting of six axes. It is the teaching, evaluation, academic guidance, graduate quality, scientific research, conference quality and public service programs, and contains 31 paragraphs. The results showed that the degree of Redesigning administrative processes(BPR) used by faculty members at King Khaled University was high in the six axes of resolution.
