The research aims at recognizing the mental image for the concepts of Revolution and Citizenship, and recognizing the opinion of a sample of Egyptians on some economical, social, Political and environmental issues related to citizenship. The aim is to be acquainted with the future of citizenship after the 25th of January.
The importance of the research is due to the fact that it comes in the phase of reconstruction of ' new ' Egypt following the revolution, approaching-to the extent possible-of the multiple manifestations of citizenship:' rights and duties and responsibilities and participation in society. This gives a special importance to this research in this period, with the emphasis on the function of ' social search ' prediction, building on the ' description, interpretation and analysis ', after the revolution as the basis for constructive coexistence in society that seeks development in all sectors, without neglecting or marginalizing.
The search stems from three assumptions: (weak State): waived many roles voluntarily or involuntarily, in favor of capitalism and capitalists globally and locally, making some citizens suffer from marginalization, and (citizen lost). The development policies based on projects like technological pockets made citizens suffer the alienation and widespread of' corruption, sparking the revolution ' as an attempt to restore his actual citizenship. The desired Revolution in ' January 25, 2011 sparked as a result of the inheritance scene in Egypt, corruption, and increasing unemployment, the problems of 2010 elections, high prices, and absence of Social justice in the distribution of wages. In addition to businessmen who dominated the economy and politics. The revolution was waged as an attempt to criticize and monetize the former contract, which worked to marginalize the Egyptian citizen in favor for (the new social contract) that guarantees citizens ' dignitg through the motto of the revolution: ' live-freedom-human dignity
The Search took social survey methodology sample method, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The researcher interviewed 611 participants using snowball method for applying interview guide, and public discussions. The researcher used SPSS software to analyze quantitative data contained in closed questions in the corresponding directory, in addition to a descriptive analytical method in the analysis of ' open questions ' responses . The search took from: (July 2013-June 2014), and conducted research in the areas of (the Imbaba) in the following neighborhoods: Ezbet alsaaidh, Mitt, and coastal Canal, St. Mark's, Al Wahda Street, and some villages: (KOM Al-Ahmar webshtil and walbragil and the village of waraq Nahya kerdasa
The field study shows that the mental image of citizenship means: rights and duties , and the revolution means change for rights and improving conditions. The problem of private lessons was one the first citizens ' problems, then the problem of garbage and then drinking problem then the of lack of jobs and then the problem of income of minimum and maximum. The right to obtain an adequate income and work projects are of the important rights which people call for. Moreover, The duties of the citizens are: the service of the country and solving problems , mastering work and education. Future problems can be avoided by providing jobs and popular participation among people in solving problems, and to projects that can improve the situation of the citizen : small and great national projects
