This research aims at studying a linguistic issue ( substitution ) in the Arabic language with the depend on the reason of assimilation and dissimilation. This is conducted by discussiry what the first linguists said in the respect of this process. It also considers the phonology to explain the phonological logic in those substitutions. In this study , the researcher has come up with some findings clearly shown in the lines of the paper and its conclusion.
