The purpose of this study is to analyze the framing used by Al-Ahram newspaper's website to present 25 January revolution events and the transition period to identify the relation between these news frames on one hand and the general direction of the comments of website users about those events on the other hand. The study employs a descriptive survey and an analytical survey to analyze the frames used by the websites and the users’ comments. In addition, a comparative technique is used to assist with the comparison between the analysis of the framing in the websites on one hand, and the users’ comments on these issues on the other hand. The tools adopted by the study are the framing analysis tool and the users’ comments analysis tool.
