This research deals with the city of Shiraz since the beginning of the Islamic era and even the era of Zendi, the search determines the origin of the city of Shiraz through study its plan and history.
The researcher has followed in this study descriptive approach, which is based on the architecture and the arts description and analysis, and the tools used in this research is related to Persian sources the Zendi era, especially the era of "Karim Khan" and references and foreign related to" Shiraz"
The researcher found the following results:
1- The city of Shiraz is an ancient city extends back to the pre-Islamic era, but was rebuilt in the Islamic era at the hands of my brother pilgrims bin Yousef Althagafi.
2- Shiraz has big expansions over the centuries, especially in "Atabek" era, "Safavid" era, and the "Zendi" era.
