The aim of the research is to show the relationship of climate to the planning of the outer spaces of the residential buildings in the city of Samawa and the impact of that relationship. These spaces took two types of planning: the pattern of the old buildings and the open style in the modern buildings, each of them different from the other in terms of planning, Which resulted in different effects on climate elements The study revealed through the standardization of the site of a clear contrast in the impact of these spaces in the elements of the climate in the city of Samawa when using the standard THI It became clear that the spaces of the old buildings represented by the narrow and partly shaded alleys are closer to the human comfort of human beings than the spaces of the modern buildings represented by the wide streets and the outer spaces of the harmonious pattern are more suitable for the climatic type of the open in the autumn and spring during the morning mornings. However, in the winter period, both were kept away from the comfort limits of the morning chart, as THI recorded less than (15)But they have become within the limits of rest during the evening. The study showed the departure of old and modern spaces from the limits of rest in the summer period and the morning and evening observations because they recorded the value of (THI) more than (20)And are closer in the morning in the evening but in all cases are closer in the outer spaces of the old buildings of the spaces of modern buildings, but the impact of the wind, the spaces of the pattern are within or close to the limits of comfort in most of the morning and evening observations during the four seasons.
