 The present study aims to identify the reasons for the spread of the phenomenon of intellectual extremism in the university, and the negative effects of intellectual extremism, as well as to reveal the vision of university youth in how to confront intellectual extremism.To achieve these goals, the study relied on the descriptive method, and used a questionnaire tool to apply to a sample of its strength. 301) students from Kafr El-Sheikh University to verify the extent of this phenomenon in the campus and society, as well as to track the mechanisms taken by the university administration in addressing them, as well as the most prominent concepts of the study, the concept of role, the concept of intellectual extremism, the concept of terrorism, and the concept of In addition to some sub-concepts, the study used the theory of risk society. Today's society includes a series of interrelated changes in our contemporary social life. The study has reached many conclusions including that the most influential factor in the spread of intellectual extremism, intellectual ignorance, and intolerance. The results of the study revealed the most important negative effects of intellectual extremism, including destabilization and spread of panic among the people and the disintegration of the elements of society and the spread of chaos, and waste the gains of the nation in its youth to control Saying their ideas, and the results of the field study indicate the proposed vision to combat intellectual extremism among university students, including students' education on the way of dialogue, discuss differences and resolve in the possible light, studying the students, problems seriously, especially the intellectual extremist and deviant behavior owners.
