The research deals with an important and very little focus of studies, especially in Iraq, Is the political comedy and methods of using techniques that can be used to produce the joy and smile of the other through political topics dealing with comedy.
The first chapter included the problem of research and its identification through the question, which is the method of performance of the comedian in the play of a political nature and how different from the performance in other types of comedy? The aim of the research was to identify the performance of the comedian in plays of a political nature, especially the performance of the Syrian actor (Duraid Lahham).
