Translating rhetorical metaphor from Arabic into Persian as applied to Adonis's poem "Time"
Metaphor is one of the thorny topics that needs to be studied, especially in the context of translation; to stand on the differences that occurred when translated into another language. Its translation shows the translator's skill in transferring what they aspired to into the target language with the same projections and symbols, especially since the common denominator between them is the criticism of reality under occupation.
This research aims to study the concept of metaphor, its types, characteristics, and classifications, the difference between it and metonymy and metaphor, and examples of its translation techniques according to the "Berini" model and its problems.
This research relies on the analytical method according to the "Ellerson and Berini" model, which describes and solves various scientific.
It is divided into an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, and a list of sources and references that were relied upon.
