The research deals with the procedures of the civil administration in Palestine (1920-1925). On June 30, 1920, the end of the military administration in Palestine was announced and the civil administration was established in its place. Herbert Samuel was appointed as its high commissioner. His appointment to this position meant a transition from the Ministry of War to the Ministry of Colonies, which would supervise the civil administration in Palestine. The civil administration in Palestine was the first official department to be established in the country, which included, in addition to the Palestinians, the British and the Jews.
Study objectives:
1- Study the procedures of the civil administration in Palestine, a historical study.
2- Track the impact of the procedures of the civil administration in Palestine on the internal Palestinian situation
3- Reveal the results of the policies of the procedures of the civil administration in Palestine in the development of events in the region during one of the most important periods of modern history.
Study plan:
I divided the study into an introduction and two sections: The first section dealt with the procedures of the civil administration in Palestine (1920-1925); then the second section included: The impact of the procedures of the civil administration in Palestine on the internal Palestinian situation (1920-1925). Then came the conclusion and sources of the study.
Methodology:
I relied on the historical method, as the research sometimes required the use of the analytical method, as well as the descriptive method, which is based on describing and inferring phenomena.
