Building the Agenda of Foreign Policy Issues inEgyptianElectronic Newspapers
The study aims at analyzing the process of building the agenda of foreign policy issues in Egyptian e-newspapers, determining the factors influencing it, the sources of news they depend on and identifying the limits of freedom available to choose the subjects of these issues according to their ownership patterns.
The study uses the survey and the comparison methods, and relies on the content analysis tool to collect the study data.
The sample of the study includes all the issues of Al-Ahram, Al-Wafd and Al-Masryal-youmnewspapers during the period from 1 January to 30 June 2016, the analysis included all the subjects related to foreign policy issues during that period.
The results of the study revealed that the three newspapers rely on the official sources and self-sources (editor or writer) to obtain information
