جدلية العلاقة بين الكاتب والمجتمع: رؤية العالم في قصص يوسف إدريس

Yusuf Idris’s literary works didn’t receive an appropriate sociological reading, especially his short stories. This study attempts to outline the changes of his characters through his vision of the world. If sociology identifies and analyzes the social phenomena, literature is not far away from this definition.                                                                                               
In this research, the researcher seeks to study the literary phenomenon, represented by some of Yusuf Idris’s short stories, to reveal the writer’s world view. Also, the researcher will try to acknowledge the writer’s vision of the world through the social changes that took place in the Egyptian Society from 1954 to 1987, (The period in which he wrote his stories from the first short story collection to the last one).                             
In addition to this, the study will try to shed the light on the writer’s vision of the world through his creative works, in a period of time full of changes at all levels, guided by Lucien Goldmann theoretical approaches and through the genetic structuralism approach to outline and analyze literary works
