The management profession is the process of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling available and potential resources to achieve specific goals in a rational manner. Management also refers to the process of achieving set goals through the optimal use of various types of resources, according to a specific approach, and within a specific environment.
Quality refers to mastery of work, dedication, and the absence of fraud. Quality also refers to the extent to which products, whether goods or services, conform to pre-established standards or specifications. Quality of life is a concept that expresses the degree of satisfaction individuals have with their lives, encompassing material, psychological, and social aspects. Quality of life also refers to the well-being of individuals and communities, and measures the extent to which basic needs are met and aspirations are fulfilled.
The management profession plays a pivotal role in improving the quality of life in any society, through its contribution to the following responsibilities: contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals, improving working conditions, providing high-quality goods and services, creating job opportunities, improving infrastructure, promoting creativity, innovation, and technology, and rationalizing the use of various types of resources...
Thus, it can be said that the management profession is a key means of achieving quality of life in any society and a fundamental pillar of the success of its development plans.
In light of the above, the research aim can be defined as identifying the role of the management profession in improving quality of life in society.
