In 2016, Israeli writer Yaron Cohen addressed the "conspiracy" in Israel's regional relations, revealing the behind-the-scenes details of what is happening in the Arab region during this era. He linked this to other documents, such as the Israeli strategy developed by the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies in Jerusalem in 1996, known in Israel as the "Netanyahu Strategy." This strategy included a plan to reshape the Middle East by incorporating Sunni areas under a single government and forming a strong alliance with Turkey against Iran.
Oded Yinon's 1982 articles on a strategy to transform the Arab region and dismantle Arab states from within by inflaming the conflict between religious and national identities and creating favorable conditions for Israeli expansion. His 1983 article on the mechanisms of psychological warfare against Arab states and the Palestinian National Authority, including creating sectarian tensions and conflicts between the army, political parties, and people, and spreading rumors about ruling regimes to undermine the values of loyalty and belonging in their collective consciousness.
The American Strategy Institute adopted these plans through study and implementation, especially after the September 11, this was consistent with Western objectives previously set in the “Sykes-Picot” Agreement and the “Bernard Lewis” maps. Who considered the region's multiple identities the most important tool in implementing these plans.
This is because the "identity" cohesion is the strongest link and fundamental distinguishing factor of a state. Its diversity is a strength when focusing on the positive aspects of each.
