This research deals with the study of the political conditions in Iraq during the Turkmen era and its impact on the disruption of Iraqi Hajj caravans during the period extending from (813-914 AH / 1410-1508 AD), where the Turkmen states (Qara Qoyunlu - Aq Qoyunlu) succeeded each other in ruling Iraq for nearly a century, and each of them had its own style of administration according to its political and sectarian orientations on the one hand, and according to its foreign relations with neighboring countries on the other hand. Iraq experienced a state of political chaos, lack of unity and instability under these countries. This was reflected in the movement of Iraqi Hajj caravans, which were disrupted from leaving for the Hijaz more than during the rule of the Turkmen states. This research will be limited to studying the political situation in Iraq only, listing the years of disruption in each country and explaining their causes. Therefore, the research is divided into an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion.
