This study aims to identify the extent of teaching listening and speaking skills in the Arabic language in the Faculty of Arts in public universities from the students' point of view. The study addressed the theoretical aspect of the topic by studying previously prepared research that examined the topic of teaching through the use of smart applications, and some of these researches focused on the impact of smart applications in teaching the Arabic language. In addition to comparing the traditional teaching method and the teaching method that uses technological means to communicate information and ensure student interaction, and then presenting a complete breakdown of the reasons for learning the Arabic language and its importance, the motives for learning it, the objectives for which smart applications are used in education, and the impact of applications in facilitating the learning process.
The practical aspect of the research included the adoption of the quasi-experimental method to conduct this aspect, and the researcher prepared a test and conducted it on a sample of students in the grammar department at Jordanian public universities, where the sample was selected from three different levels (low, medium, and high), and the sample included (100) male and female students. The study found that teaching through smart applications contributed to raising the level of students and increasing their degree of achievement, and proved the impact of using these applications in saving time and easy access to any idea the student is looking for, after that, the results and recommendations were
