Views on the Syntax of Vocative Noun
This research seeks to study the vocative noun in the vocative sentence, identify the aspects of scholarly disagreement regarding its case-assigner and its parsing. In addition, this research tries to discuss the opinions of grammarians regarding its counting in the accusative case as well as its interpretation in a way that is not compatible with its linguistic use, which led to affectation in this interpretation and its removal from the construction style to the predicate style, whichdoes not express what the caller wants, trying to regularize itin a manner that is compatible with linguistic usage and grammatical logic.
The study concluded that the default state of the vocative noun is the nominative case, taking it to be like the two parts of a clause (i.e. subject and predicate), and the case assigner for it is inherent, such as the case assigner for the subject and the present tense verb, and that the accusative case in it is the unusual case, and it occurs in the genitive vocative, the semi-genitive, and the unintended indefinite due to the length of the speech, and not because it is an object.
